We buried the lede!*
Hello C:WED community,
I realized my last blog post was a bit of a lengthy novel! Between sharing about Eleanor’s book and explaining its main theme of how patriarchy detrimentally affects women and the Earth, and also exploring the role played by our image of the Divine, the most important part got a little lost at the bottom.
We are currently running a fundraiser to support our mission, and we don't want you to miss the chance to be a part of it.
Our community has always amazed us.
In the past two and a half years since we began the digital version of C:WED, we have been blessed by incredibly generous reader donations ranging from $10, $25, $50, $75, up to sizable gifts of $100 , $250, and $500.
We appreciate every single donation. No amount is too small!
Every dollar of your tax-deductible gift goes to paying for licensing rights and for the technology fees that keep C:WED alive.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our C:WED community.

*The lede: Journalistic term (also spelled lead) for the introductory sentence or paragraph of an article that gives the main point. To “bury the lede” is an idiom meaning to fail to emphasize the most important part of a story from the start.
